After looking into the idea of glitch art and how a fault or malfunction in technology can produce some unsuspected beauty. I wanted to push the boundaries of thinking of a glitch to just be in a digital or technological form but to show how we can produce this in a manual way. Through screen printing this image I played around with ways that I could produced a glitched image, from adding water, to mix matching colours, offsetting layers and using newsprint scraps to interrupt the layering of colour. I've also had the pleasure of exhibiting these pieces a number of times which was a rewarding and wonderful expierence.
